About me: Eric Galvan

General Overview
I have worked in the A/E industry for nearly 20 years having extensive experience with CAD management, network administration, desktop hardware management, training, production design & drafting (digital & paper mediums), as well as many other CAD/IT challenges facing the industry today. 

 

Listed below is an overview of my experience as well as a bullet list defining areas of expertise.  I am hopeful that this information will be helpful in determining where I may be of assistance in either opening the door to establish new client relationships or fortifying existing client relationships.

 

Experience
I currently serve as a Territory Account Manager within the AEC Division of Autodesk.  My primary duties are to manage customer relations and support our extensive value added reseller network.  My promise to my customers is to understand their business and articulate the business value of various solutions to their company.  Additionally, analyze and share current AEC industry trends and best practices while leveraging my knowledge, experience and resources to benefit customers and members of the community.  With all this said, I represent one-half of a very important team, my technical counterpart; Angel Espinoza who is one of the best in the business.  Together, we represent 43 years in the AEC industry and we are working diligently to educate and inform our customers as well as provide a conduit back to Autodesk sales, marketing and development teams for improvement of our solutions and policies.

 

As a previous customer of Autodesk, I served as the VP of Information Technology for the G.C. Wallace Companies for nine years.  GCW is a multi-discipline engineering firm headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada with regional offices in Reno and Sacramento.  GCW provides engineering services in the following areas:

Prior to GCW, I worked with Tucker, Sadler & Associates in San Diego, CA.  During my time at TSA, I worked in their production department as well as managing both CAD and their internal Novell Network.

 

Prior to TSA, I worked with San Diego Gas & Electric as a utility mapper working on the analog to digital conversion of overhead and underground utilities within San Diego County.

 

I reside in Las Vegas, NV and currently serve the CA, NV and HI territory, specializing in Civil Engineering and Surveying.
